Fargo

Which season of Fargo did you enjoy most? Who is your favorite character?

OP, is this what you want?

I.. uh... yes? Yes. This is what I want.

For me it's
>Season 1: 9/10
>Season 2: 9.5/10
>Season 3: 8/10
>favorite character: Lou Solverson/Mike Milligan

>best season
2
>best character
Malvo

Wrench and Numbers are great though.

Season 3 is weird because I feel like past episode 4 it becomes true unadulterated kino, to the point I prefer it over the other seasons. But the first half of it is so boring and messy.

close the thread this is the only acceptable answer

Hanzee, without a doubt

Should I actually watch this show?

The movie.

absolutely

what is great about this show is that it doesn't take a long time to build up. you can watch season 1 episode 1 and you will know whether or not you like it

Yes, it has a certain aesthetic and feel to it that makes it feel unique to other shows. Great characters and music too. All 3 seasons all have their unique feel as well, and oozing with style.

I loved this guy. His transition from henchman to main villain was really cool.

Fucking despise that retarded twist they did with him at the end though.

What was the point of this scene?

you're a fucking retard

Season 1 is unironically better and establishes everything the movie does but in a more satisfying and complete way.

Is very McCarthy

>Hanzee Dent Character Analysis: From a Native Perspective. (self.FargoTV)

>submitted 1 year ago by [deleted]

Ohanzee Dent is my favorite character of the entire series.

Let me preface this by saying I am not condoning admiration of senseless murder and the bad stuff Hanzee did. With that being said, Ohanzee Dent is probably the most dynamic Native character to date, and not only that; one that can empower and inspire Native youth, in a positive way.

Allow me to explain. Growing up, I never really had a strong Native Lead to look up to in film, as the past generations have. My dad’s generation had Billy Jack, who wasn’t even Indian, but I always heard him express love for the character’s “take-no-shit attitude”. For a more in-depth look into the overwhelming lack of representation and misrepresentation of Natives in film, I suggest watching “Reel Injun”. The Coen Brothers and Noah already started breaking down these walls in season 1 by showing Native characters be just regular people.

I’ve watched Season 2 twice now, and got so excited the first time I saw Hanzee/Zahn on screen, after my introduction to Mr. McClarnon in Westworld. I knew that the writers were gonna do the character right, and Zahn would be able to bring his own insights and experiences to the character. I also trusted that he wouldn’t allow any misconceptions to be propagated. I’ll address just a few things I caught, that might not be apparent to non-Natives.

My mom grew up in Montana and we spent a lot of time going back to visit while growing up. Montana and the Dakotas are the most racist states in this country for Indian people and unfortunately this racism is still alive and well. When the bartender unsurprisingly spits in his drink, he surprisingly gave him a pass, or it seemed he did anyways. That is when Hanzee/Zahn addresses another misconception when the bartender brings up the Wounded Knee siege and Hanzee tells him that he’s not there.

Season 1 is miles ahead of the other two and Lorne Malvo is a masterful character (Basically Anton Chigurh done right)

With that said, I enjoyed Season 2 and 3 too. Even if the former kinda fell on its face on the landing with the last two episodes.

tldr

thanks for watching out for me, redditspy

I really liked season 1 but I was honestly surprised by the quality of dialogues and writing on season 2. Everything was cohesive with the Fargo universe. My favorite season so far is 2.

Observations on chaos, order, values, family roles, gender roles, the idea behind the mundane getting into insane situations. I watched everything for the first time not too long ago and I can safely say it's one of my favorite series.

The Solverson family and friends between seasons 1 and 2 are top comfy, heart-warming and poetic. Every one of them brings their wisdom to the table every now and then.

to tell the dangers of incels

Is the movie worth it? I liked season 1

gratz, you just outed yourself as redditfag, now go back, you will never fit in

Why did they do this

No tv bad guy will ever be as kino as Lorne Malvo playing the cops and telling Lester "Did you know the human eye can see more shades of green than any other color?"
