Once in a lifetime does a passion piece like venture bros come around, the artists obviously caring more about integrity than pumping out a new season every year (dont say this about R&M who had long wait times cause Dan Harmon and Adult swim are hacks, once they get the animation going for their 100 contract episode itll be pumped out every year like babies)

It doesnt stray from it's ideals, and focuses more on story than cheap jokes and gags for the audiences engagement.

Venture Bros is written by the same two guys (who also do most of the voices) which is why it's consistently funny and quality.

Rick and Morty has been shit ever since Dan Harmon forced a bunch of women and soiboys into the writing room and it's been painfully unfunny ever since.

Dean's just trying to step out of his father's shadow and do his own thing. He gets existential but not to the level I'm talking about. I never once felt sad or like killing myself when watching VB. I watched the first season of Bojack and had to nope out because I don't want to watch shows where people constantly want to die.
