adulthood is realizing that pic related was 10 times the leader, twice the gangster and 5 times a better boss than Tony Soprano ever was.
TS >you wanna go to Florida with your family VA FANGULO >interrupt my tirade about ragheads, bottle to the face! >you know that bitch who i never wanted to see again, well ya can't fuck her! Avon Barksdale >yeah nigga I saw you did your bid you a real ass nigga, have 15 grand for a boxing gym. No need to put in work no more
TS >fat greasy fuck who can barely breathe, yet has to do hits himself because he can't trust even his closest associates >comes from a long line of gangsters and was basically given the throne, yet still manages to collapse everything >can't prevent his own bitches from harassing his family >will be a pillowy rape cushion if he goes to prison
Avon Barksdale >in peak physical condition, yet never once squeezes a trigger in the whole show. He got shooters. Rule 8 of Ten Crack Commandments >came from nothing, went from shoplifting, to stickin niggas with an AK-47 to being a kingpin >keeps his bitches in line, if one pipes up. BUP BUP! Weebee takes care of it. >Is not scared of prison. Has connetions to run shit from the yard, keeps in touch with them russian motherfuckers, carves out a nest for himself and his shooters in prison.
Yeah but Jerseyfags are retarded enough to smear mayonnaise all over it. Seriously I've never once had a good seafood dinner in jersey. I don't know what the fuck their problem is but Gandolfini literally died from smearing mayonnaise on shrimp
Robert Perez
Except Tony let Tony B live the straight life after doing his time in prison.
Eugene just inherited money. He didn’t do time.
Alexander Flores
Not that it even factors into Tony's decision but Eugene was also working with the feds, so fuck him.
Jaxson Foster
Avon is a low IQ street rat, really.
1. He goes to war with Marlo, but sells out to him for 100k simply because Marlo was from the Westside of Baltimore instead of the Eastside.
2. Offered an opportunity to go legit, refuses despite knowing all the heat on him.
Jose Phillips
People don't eat horseshoe crab buddy. It's the blue crab.
Ian Wood
the wire > sopranos sopranos had way too much of low points. too many shitty scenes about literal who characters that no one gives a shit about and the scenes were soap opera anyways. the wire always had real shit happening
John Rodriguez
>Rule 8 >Violates Rule 7 at every turn
D'Angelo was a liability and should have been put on retirement instead of just demoted to the Pit.
sorry bucko, but the wire season 5 exists. which brings it down to an 8/10 to the sopranos' 9/10.
Jonathan Roberts
He knew Marlo would fuck over the east side (Avon's longest rivals) if he got ahold of the Greeks' drug connection. The whole west side familiarity was just an innocent pantomime.
Christian Scott
sorry but all characters except tony and paul exists in sopranos - bringing it down to 7/10
Jack Cox
>Offered an opportunity to go legit, refuses despite knowing all the heat on him
That offer was a scam and he could smell it a mile away. Yet another reason that Avon > Stringer
Ethan Miller
I thought the newspaper element of Season 5 was actually pretty well done. The rest of it was shit.
The main thing that the Wire has over the Sopranos is that in the Wire, all actions have consequences. In the Sopranos, Tony's crew commits extremely brazen and sloppy crimes in broad daylight, leaving bodies, fingerprints and guns on the scene and nothing is ever mentioned about it again. Shit is retarded.
When Paulie and Chris smoked that waiter their whole explanation as to why they don't get caught is "no one knows us in Atlantic City", but the fact is they left a non mob affiliated citizen with a bullet in their head in the parking lot of a well known mob hangout, and somehow that brings absolutely zero heat onto the Atlantic City mob? who would then probably retaliate because they are sick of Soprano's psychos leaving a trail of dead civilians everywhere they go?
Ryan Cooper
>le magical negro may may
Anthony Baker
The newspaper story was ruined by having the flawless self-insert for the writer character. The dynamics of the newspaper office in general were pretty good but that guy was ridiculous.
Elijah Lewis
season 5 is still good you dumb idiot person
Kayden Johnson
Shut up fuck head. The Wire is no where near the Sopranos. Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa Just started a Sopranos podcast that’s pulling in 200k viewers. Who’s talking about the Wire ever anymore besides dick breaths like you?
Noah Butler
>I thought the newspaper element of Season 5 was actually pretty well done. it was a soft disclosure about media being completely fake news.
Robert Hernandez
Tony was a psychopath. He is a complete scumbag. This is not news.
Carson Ortiz
You’re an idiot and a liar. Tony drops a gun in a field that comes back to haunt him 3 years later. The airline tickets. Not to mention mobsters are sloppy as fuck IRL. They are not cat burglars you stupid cunt. They rely on bribery, connections, and brawn to get them out of situations.
