You will love it if you're dark skinned

The first 4 episodes are fantastic and then it becomes PICARD levels of stupid.

yeah in that case it's okay. not good, but if you're running out of things to watch

There's no real reason to watch this show.

I'm white, is it overly hostile? I'm aware of the memes, but it's hard to separate reality from pol overreacting sometimes.

Its pretty shit so no

If you never read the comic it would be a little confusing, but you will likely enjoy a few of the characters.

I've never seen a racist show like it before to be honest

thats disappointing, I liked the movie. its getting harder to watch tv while white.

Yes. If you´re aware of the comics storyline but not the deeper themes it will be even better

No. The memes aren´t really perspective, its pretty overt when you watch the show

It's worth watching for Jeremy Irons

It isn't worth watching no matter who you are.

It's the worst show ever made

black good white bad

Know a guy into comics and sci fi, so this would be right up his alley. Also hes black, he kept telling me to watch it, telling me the 7th Cav were going to end up being the good guys. He was assuring me the story wouldnt be so cut and dry. Anyways a few weeks go by, and I am seeing all the posts here about Dr. Harlem, so I ask him about it. He said the pandering and antiwhite themes got too much and he dipped out.

Everyone was assuming the 7k would turn out to be misunderstood, nope, it's just whitey bad

that's what blackface is for

AYO IF FINNA BOUTA HAVE A SYMBOL AND SHIEET I WANNA IT BE SUMMIN I RESPEC NUMSAYING?

If I wanna be a nigger I'd pick Idris Elba, this thing is so fucking ugly, god

Kinos like this about unexpected allies?

As someone who likes the comic, don't you dare fucking watch this abomination.

It's Picard level stupid right from the start dumbass.

No. Read the graphic novel instead.

talk to people who look different than you. I know a few black guys who say that the constant victimization drags down their community. Also blaming white people for everything needs to stop

There was a reason they didn't even make the 10th episode.

The episode that focussed on Looking Glass was actually really good. The Veidt scenes are really good. The story isnt that good. However for everyone saying its pandering anti white sentiments, give me a break... 7th Cavalry is just a militant version of The New Frontiersman

This. Blacks just want to be left alone with other blacks in their own suburbs and getting told over and over again to hate white people just reeks of someone trying to start conflicts.

if you don't value your time on this earth at all, go ahead

Why did Watchmen get cancelled? Wasn't it really popular?

Nope

nope, even has an episode cut as a cost saving measure

Only worth watching if you don't give a shit about the comic. And then even if you don't it isn't.

Lmao. I thought shills were saying it had millions of viewers per episode or some shit?

Anti-white nonsense. Sold like a lead balloon, now it's not getting a second season.

Some nice empty left-wing pockets, some nice unemployed commies. BTFO.

You also have to unironically enjoy black protagonists.

they said no new season before the show aired all the episodes

It was factually anti-white, and it got the reception it deserved: Total failure.

And now it's gone.

The tulsa massacre shit was pretty good. Hard to believe it started because the town lynched a white guy the year before.

its a great standalone show with some of the best episides on 2019/2020

if u are a MAGA tard who gets triggered when redneck are shown then just fuck off

Because the creator wouldn't sign on for a second season.

They said a second season might happen if the show proved to be popular right before the show aired.

HBO did a lot of fuzzy math to puff up the show's reception but if you looked at the raw numbers it did pretty terribly, losing out to garbage airing at the same time.

So what? Alan Moore wasn't signed on for the first season. What would it matter if he didn't sign on for a second season?

I dislike comics books and I loved the comic. It is interspersed with written sections to flesh it out. Actually and enjoyable experience. The artwork is dated, but well done. You can see why people would lust over wanting to film it, they compositions are excellent.

It is a worthwhile experience. As is the movie. The TV series is not worth shit.
