Even gameshows were fucking straight male horn-fests. I was watching Match Game, Tattle Tales and some game show about a dude and his wife and his secretary, on a cable channel that is nothing but old game shows. My teen aged kids were freaked out at how "cringey" all the double entrendres were--on daytime game shows back then--I couldn't believe it. Like Bob Newhart's secretary Carol and all these middle aged chicks making cheesey "libido" jokes.
Looking back it 70's TV like the opening of Rocky III straight men living it up, not realizing they'd lost the eye of the tiger and were about to get a whupping for it.
