Nothing's believable any more. This shit was cool for maybe one episode where it showed Marty cutting a deal while begging for his life and crying, but I've stopped enjoying it since episode like 7. I'm in consoomer mode now, just going through the motions and starting season 2. Some things that are absolutely ridiculous

yeah they really got fucking ridiculous with that shit this season. it was sort of bad in seasons 1 and 2, but now pretty much every character is a strong woman and marty barely gets any screen time.

They should incorporate COVID into the next season, with Marty having to find ways to make money despite the Missouri Belle and every other business of his being shut down.
Except it goes out of its way to show how deeply rooted female incompetence is, to the point where even the female lawyer, a painfully prim, proper and rigorously well educated woman, still fucks things up for everyone by being super autisticly protective over her daughters innocence, against all logic dictating otherwise

I think the point of that is to show how unscrupulous and morally bankrupt these people are. Darlene knows people like the KC Mafia are a breed apart from her, easily swayed by violence and money. Which is why she felt absolutely confident in mauling his son and cutting him a deal; she knows he won't do shit so long as he's getting paid
