Would not say OUATIH is uplifting at all. However, I agree with the sentiment. Fuck fashionable depression and feeling sorry for yourself and sad all the time. I don’t get it. Everyone EVERYONE around me seems to suffer from the depression meme disease. I was bullied throughout high school, my dad died when I was 19, I’m fucking content as fuck with my life just the way it is because I know it could be so much worse. I know it wasn't meant to be but Ford v. Ferrari felt pretty nihilistic to me. You have the whole movie dedicated to this race and then he gets screwed out of it and then fucking dies.
