pretty much says it in the title

The only good pirate film in generations.
Also the opening to a rabbit hole that is the epitome of everything wrong with "too big to fail" studios

>what am i in for?
fun

Nice, I just finished watching a 435GB rip of it the other week

that must have been amazing

Just watched these over the last week of so. They are fun and goofy. Have some good action too. Definitely worth a watch.

It's unequivocally based. However at the same time it was in large part responsible for the cancer of infinite sequels.

Its epic, I dont give a shit what the haters say. It's probably the most perfectly cast movie ever made, Depp is an actual scoundrel before he turned in a cartoon character, the score is amazing, script is taught, funny and actually develops the characters rather than belittle them.

Its gorgeous to look at, fun to watch, fucking epic.

Again, only talking about the first one.

yeah it's perfect

Binged the whole series when I had a craving for pirate movies a few months back. Are there any other poirat movies worth watching?

Geoffrey Rush was brilliant as Barbossa
the first is great, second is good, third is so-so and the rest of the series is pure garbage

It's a perfect film, it really is. Dead Man's Chest is a worthy sequel, At World's End spent too much time with world building.

>what am i in for?
unironically a good movie

see I can't tell if OP is just showing where he is in the film or if he's posting c&nny because Yas Forums
could be both?

Pure swashbuckling kinography

yes

The 2nd to last good movie Depp ever did

did you pirate them

so we can assume that she died here, yes? and also Will died at the beginning before he was picked up. they only were able to revive because of the curse. and also, the medallion sends out a signal each time someone dies, meaning it feeds on death/souls yes? the curse

should have just downloaded the 800mb rip from yify

They weren't cursed.
The ones who get cursed are those that take any of the coins from the chest, not anyone who has them.

m&m's are way thinner than skittles

also it gets me thinking, is anyone who has been cursed has some kind of telepathic link, or maybe even spiritual link? maybe even a kind of familial piety to each other? almost like they owe each other a debt?
that's not true.
much later in the film, Jack takes a coin from the chest in the cave, and he becomes cursed visibly during his duel with Barbosa. He had no part in the original curse, as he cleared up at another point in the film "if you hadn't deserted me on that island, I'd have had a share in the curse same as you, funny old world isn't it?" but he is still fully cursed by simply picking up a coin.

The signal gets sent out when it's in the water

>haven't seen it since I was about 20
>possibly mid-late 30s
why the FUCK are you still here?

poor donkey

he left by **********LEAVING**********
that's the only way to leave

I actually enjoyed Lindsay's video on it. I also strangely enjoy the Professional Pirates song from Muppets Treasure Island
