the worst was the ones were the person gets scared and runs out of the controlled environment the producers set up for the prank
it cut everything short and there would be an awkward edit (obviously filmed later) were the actor involved would shout "wait come back, you're on scare tactics!"
it would cut to the person coming back in good spirits to the prank, leaving out the 45 minutes or so it took to catch up to the person and calm them down while also getting them to not call the police
