>Rebecca Breeds ("The Originals") has landed the coveted role of Clarice Starling in CBS’ "The Silence of the Lambs" sequel series CLARICE.
>Set in 1993, one year after the events of the seminal film, CLARICE will explore the untold personal story of its title character as she returns to work pursuing serial murderers and sexual predators while navigating Washington, D.C. politics. Hannibal Lecter, the cannibal serial killer with whom Clarice shared a twisted bond, is not expected to appear in the series.
>Breeds’ Clarice is described as "brilliant and vulnerable, whose bravery gives her an inner light that draws monsters and madmen to her. Her complex psychological makeup comes from a challenging childhood, and her drive comes from her need to escape the burden of family secrets that have haunted her throughout her life."
FUUUUUUUUUUCK! I was hoping Fuller would get to use Clarice for a potential 4th season of Hannibal. Now if it does come back they have to think of something else because I doubt CBS wants 2 Clarice's on TV at once.
It's okay we'll sort something out user! Don''t worry you're not alone in your frustration. Having said that I wonder will this go the same way as Hannibal?
What's Rebecca Breeds opinion ons Sneed's seeds and feeds?
Blake Richardson
what the fuck is this woman talking about
Jaxson Fisher
> Fuller wanted to make Starling a niiger AGHHHH FUCK MY LIFE! Why can't I juat have one good thing in my life! Also how do you guys think everyone's favorite little Graham cracker would fit in with Starling if S4 ever happened? You know Fuller wouldn't kill him off.
Jonathan Thomas
>no Hannibal season 4 instead with black Clarice Fucking dropped
Benjamin Stewart
Hannibal Lecter is the draw for me. So a show wthout him doesn't excite me much. But I love the characters and the universe so I'm gonna give it a shot. But my expectations are looooooow. Not sure I see it lasting long unless this Breeder is some phenomenal actress. I just hope if it shits the bed it doesn't lower Hannibals already longshot chances of a return.
Brandon Cruz
You just know Clarice would develop an infatuation with both Will and Hannibal making it a sick love/hate triangle.
Adam Sanders
Wait what? Hannibal's not in it? Oh okay fuck that then! I'd think he's a draw for a lot of people too, Starling was only interesting due to Her interactions with him oh and another thing This thing is probably going to be MeToo'd as fuck!
Angel Evans
Yeah I bet she's gonna be a martial artist computer hacker with an attitude bullshit. I wonder who's producing/writing.
I will say this in the show's defense, there were moments like that in both the book and the movie but if anything this will just embolden what remains of the sjw or liberal or feminist contingent who will latch on to this show solely for the fact that it has a lead character who happens to have a particularly pungent cunt. (just ask multiple Miggs)
Christian Evans
>Starling was only interesting due to Her interactions with him I don't agree completely, I agree that their interactions were interesting as fuck but..
Clarice was interesting because she was perfectly balanced between earnest get-shit-done capability and helpless little girl. She was successfully written as a physically small, cute, intelligent female protagonist without being touched Mary Sue-ism. That's not going to survive.
Imagine some CBS show having their female lead have cum thrown into her face and then crying outside at her car, or practically pissing herself with fear in a life threatening situation.
Michael Reyes
Her co- student will be her black lesbian lover though, you can bet on that.
Samuel Davis
It's cute that you think THAT scene will even be made at all. I assure you it won't be. After all: WOMEN ARE PEOPLE TOO YOU EVIL SEXIST!
Michael Bell
I hope Bryan Fuller is in a car crash for even thinking that. Whether its fatal or not is up to God.
Calling it now. Black boyfriend, Hispanic female ally, villains are all White men.
Dominic Richardson
You forgot the red hats, user.
David Perez
It makes sense that hannibal wont be in the show besides by name since he's been in hiding up until he comes back in hannibal the novel and movie plus it's only been a year so why would he risk his freedom to see what his little legion has been up to. Also I would rather this not be a serial killer of the week type show but instead mix it up with her chasing down bank robbers, terrorist and maybe some sort of unabomber type character plus her biggest nemesis who she was after was evelda drumgo the female drug kingpin of Baltimore. Now that would be a nice idea
Samuel Wood
it's all so tiresome
Charles Martin
In the novel and movie hannibal she was in a relationship with a FBI instructor who was older and happened to be white
Carter Johnson
I meant pigeon not legion
Charles Campbell
It would be neat if Hannibal wrote her letters at home or something. Just enough for him to haunt her.
Oliver Barnes
There's no way this tops NBC's Hannibal but it might be a fun companion piece
