Movies only you've seen, but you wish more would see
Hidden gems
It's neither hidden or a gem
Yeah man, Studio Ghibli is so obscure. How did you ever come across this?
>from the producers who saw spirited away
This
Sorcerer
>mfw people thing Studio Ghibli is obscure.
I watched this without subtitles. I don't even know French. Maybe it makes more sense if you understand what's being said but I somehow doubt it.
Well, there is a story, but let's be honest, its only there to have an excuse to move on to the next scene.
Whatever story you imagined seeing is probably as interesting, if not better than the actual one. Watching it in French in fact probably helps just for that added "alien-ness".
Studio... Gbhibli? Ghibbly? What?
Is there any Chinese animations like this?
People here will probably never be able to get past the woke casting, but this was so good I paid to see it twice.
Arrietty was alright, but just alright
studio gibbi
I don't get why people are always confused by this movie. The story is pretty straightforward
Adrift in Tokyo. It's a super comfy movie that more people need to see
Who was confused here?
>tfw no commie
>tfw no Czech or from any Eastern Bloc country
I still fucking loved this
I guess I should have only quoted the middle user who said the story wouldn't make anymore sense if he understood what was being said.
This is the only 2D animated film I've seen in a theatre.
I don't care much for any of the woke business either but this film is astounding in any case. I thought about watching it twice but relented. Certainly worth a watch to any anons thinking of giving it a shot.
Also checked.
You were never a child?
air-headed fairy tale.
recommend more like that pls (surr but not derive into obscurantism, sticks to logic of its own world... better yet, hard sci-fi that larps as surrealism)
I think he's just so young that all animated movies were 3d while he was growing up
I mean, the whole thing is a metaphor for how we treat livestock - sort of like a "let's see how you like it"
I just found it kinda boring desu. The soundtrack was good tho
And if there are any Czechs or Slovaks on Yas Forums, I'd like to know what is the status of this film there.
>recommend more like that pls
Time Masters
Gandahar
Angel's Egg
Anomalisa
World of Tomorrow
Belladonna of Sadness
Son of the White Mare
Mind Game
>tfw Yas Forums only talks about The Skin I Live In from Almodovar
thanks
Also Shoujo Tsubaki if you really wanna get depressed.
Netflix after scrolling down through all of their recommendations twice
This isn't "obscure" either, one of the most common films noted among trip enthusiasts
I will watch it thanks
I've watched all of these except Time Masters, I'm assuming you're a fellow DUDE WEED
