Where did it go wrong?
Where did it go wrong?
You were born that’s when it went wrong
Your faggot life went wrong lmfao
It tried to be better than BoB
It wasn't, and was actually worse.
Farting about in Australia
no mention of the 6 million
For me it was that the characters weren't just that well written compared to BoB.
Why weren’t there Australian soldiers to defend Australia? Did you guys really just abandon it to go fight Britain’s war and leave Australia open for Americans to have an orgy with all your women?
This, and band of brothers wasn't that good either.
Generation Kill is better than both of them.
>Having main characters instead of making a whole company the character like BoB did
>Not following a rifleman
>Not having very many live accounts of guys who were actually there to base shit on
>Following Leckie at all
>Everything about the Australia episode
>Making the Iwo Jima episode about Balisone fucking the lady sergeant instead of the most famous battle of the whole theater
band of brothers was comparable to a marvel flick whereas the pacific was a dc kino
In the Pacific
It didn't. Sledge and Leckie were kino.
Sledgehammer and Snafu really elevated it, but addresses most of my gripes, except for the company thing. I don't think there was any company as cohesive and interesting as Easy Company on the Pacific front.
Seriously, though, something about Leckie's and Basilone's actor's faces weren't believable as soldiers in WWII.
Everything about Leckie and Basilone went wrong after Guadalcanal.
However, every single episode with Sledge as a main character was kino and the Okinawa episode surpassed BoB.
Do you want me to be spacific?
the pacific was based on books written by the actual veterans and band of brothers was written by a lying historian relying on stories recounted by dementia ridden geriatrics
Nothing went wrong. It just changed its focus from a whole unit to a couple of men. I'd say the people who think it's trash probably think the pacific theater is less interesting than the european theater altogether. In BoB the unit is constantly moving until they get to the battle of the bulge, so that gives us different scenery. In Pacific the battles are clearly just waves of attrition with men desperately throwing their lives at each other on very identical islands. It would have been too chaotic to focus on a whole platoon cause half of them would be killed in an episode.
Burgers rolled over based Japanese navy and kept pushing them to the island. Boring front compared to others.
>casually hogs through your heavily defended lines
>twice
Why didn’t the Germans just shoot him?
lol
Since he was the only one running in they probably thought it was one of their own who extended too far out. On his return run they were, "oh shit what?"
Was still good, altough I prefer BoB.
Now Masters of the Air (aka Mighty Eight) when.
It was pretty good. Except the stuff with the Peutro Rican playing the Italian. His stuff was kind of boring.
I liked the guy who pisses him self, sludge and Mr. Robot. But I think BoB was better because it followed one company from training to VE day, where as the Pacific was more scattered.
>arming convicts
Also the US soldiers weren't defending Australia, they were on shore leave and banging Aussies before being sent back to the front
They didn't want to enrage the American BVLL any further
Might have thought he was a medic
it's not generation kill that's what's wrong
band of brothers sucked too because GK set the standards too high for other war kino
Our Prime Minister told the Anglo's to go and get fucked and pulled all our forces home and to New Guinea, it was just Americans being refugees from Pearl Harbor and fucking around on the mainland instead of fighting. If they got off their arses they probably could have defeated Japan by 1943
band of brothers was about the fight for Israel
the Pacific was about the fight for America
Because he is German.
Unironically too much cussing.
