I watched these two kinos last night. It's too bad that everyone knows the big reveal for onions green, I know I had put it off for a long time. Logans Run blew me away though, it was visually awesome. And they beat that faggot Andrew Lloyd Weber referencing TS Eliots cat poems. What's some other good 70s sci-fi stuff?

>A Boy and His Dog
This is one of my favorite movies

I got you senpai these are exactly what you need:

The planet of the apes
Westworld
Rollerball
Omega man

m.youtube.com/watch?v=49IcrH4Bhq0

What kinos end like this? Does omega man have the proper ending from the book?

I liked the sequal to Westworld a lot more. I think its called Futureworld

Onions green was boring, spent way too much time on the love story and the old jew. The ending is rushed.

Idk I liked how it seemed totally pointless that he found out the big reveal, as he's being carted away through masses of hopeless people.

a man of culture, i see.

love a boy and his dog, and death race 2000.
include nightfall (1988) on there too.

If we're including 80s sci-fi, then there are a lot more I could add

Please do

Alright, here you go. 80s sci-fi has a very different feel than 70s sci-fi. I'm also excluding the super popular ones (Blade Runner, The Thing...)
Brazil
Videodrome
The Fly
The Falls (won't be for everyone)
Testsuo: The Iron Man
Altered States
Re-Animator
Scanners
Repo Man
The Abyss
The Blob
Flash Gordon
Lifeforce
The Element of Crime
Dead Zone
Robot Jox
Dead Man's Letters
On the Silver Globe
Visitor to a Museum
Miracle Mile
The Hidden
Time Masters
Dogra Magra
From Beyond
The Red Spectacles
Time Bandits
Liquid Sky
The Running Man

Not him but here's a thread with a huge list archive.4plebs.org/tv/thread/101095832/

This quarantine is pretty based. Think I'm gonna do Westworld first and then maybe Rollerball? And then maybe Stepford Wives, and Running Man. I've never seen Videodrome either. I'm gonna watch 4-5 kinos a day from now on. I want to go back further and brush up on stuff like treasure of the Sierra madre but for now, sci-fi. Make sure to like and subscribe and click that little bell for notifications.

Onions

ids beeble :DDDDD

You know what sucks? That everyone knows the twist of the original Planet of the Apes.
You're supposed to be thinking they're on an alien planet all the while.

Here's the 3 best Sci-Fi per decade (50s-80s) I watched:

1950s
1. Them!
2. Forbidden Planet
3. Invasion of the Body Snatchers
(Haven't yet watched the Day the Earth stood still)

1960s
1. 2001: A Space Odyssey
2. Planet of the Apes
3. Quatermass and the Pit

1970s
1. The Andromeda Strain
2. Invasion of the Body Snatchers
3. S o y l e n t Green

1980s
1. Blade Runner
2. The Thing
3. Brazil

Rollerball is kino

>that pathetic b8
Yeah you're right about planet of the apes. Stupid pop culture.

>invasion of the body snatchers twice
Is it really that good?

>Robot Jox
I'm pretty sure robot job is an early 90s flick it's just super low budget, but robot job is also so awesome that fuck you it deserves to be on the list

kek, based retard

I love the TV show for Logan's Run. It's cheesy 70's Sci-Fi fun, and available on DVD.

Same goes for the Planet Of The Apes live-action TV show, which is better than the final three films of the original series. Also on DVD.

Also wanted to add none of the movie actors are back, they recast and add new characters. Love the car they use on the show too.

Also:
Phase IV (the one about the ants)
Quintet (Robert Altman)

Logans run was one of those movies perpetually on TBS along with clash of the titans.
I don't think I have ever watched the whole movie in one sitting.

imagine doing her while shes wearing that

>not having seen a 40 and 70 year old movie is retarded
kek, based meme spouter

They reference it in all kinds of shit, its pretty iconic.

>brush up on stuff like treasure of the Sierra madre but for now, sci-fi.
No, fuck you. Go watch treasure of the sierra madre NOW.
Arguably one of the best movies ever made and bogey is patrician as fuck.

Why are you even on this board? The GOT and star wars tourists left months ago and there's no capeshit on the horizon.

not having heard of Invasion of the Body Snatchers is pretty retarded, yes

>heard of
