Universal is working on a The Munsters reboot for Peacock, the new reboot will be a comedy series like the original and will feature actual monster costumes for The Munsters compared to the Moking Bird Lane reboot. Chris Walas will work on the practical effects for the comedy series reboot. Like the original series, classic Universal Monsters such as the Gillman, Wolfman and the Mummy will make appearences in the show. The series will show the struggle of a monsters family living in Brooklin to "fit in".

Quick Yas Forums, write episode plots about Munsters in Brooklin now:
>Eddie Munsters gets robbed by blacks.
It was... interesting. Not great. Very much of its time in terms of its approach to the source material.
>living in Brooklin to "fit in".
How hip, how vibrant
Interesting
>NBC chief Robert Greenblatt said of their decision to pass on the series: "We just decided that it didn't hold together well enough to yield a series. It looked beautiful and original and creative, but it just all ultimately didn't come together... it just didn't ultimately creatively all work. We felt great about that cast, but we tried to make it not just a sitcom. We tried to make it an hour, which ultimately has more dramatic weight than a half-hour. It's hard to calibrate how much weirdness vs. supernatural vs. family story. I just think we didn’t get the mix right".
So weird, the show had good viewings if I remember right.
remember comcast is giving all their customers peacock for free
