Life
So sad
Makes me cry every time
Reincarnation sucks bros

is this movie peak burguercore?

why are you giving a shit about worthless poor people?

Florida Kino of the highest order

This is one step above homelessness in murica.

Couldn't give a shit about the adults.but holly fuck the kids... that was me at some point. Not motel trash but pretty poor family nonetheless.

Is it still like that now?

Movies arent real life dummy. Get over it.

Would you rather play lego with brooklynn prince or the red haired girl?

They ran away to Disney World, user. It’s going to be ok.

What are some other poorkinos Yas Forums?
American Honey maybe?

Loved this movie, Dafoe's character was such a bro, really trying to look after these people and their kids, but ultimately can't save these people from themselves.

Gummo

gummo isn't that well made but it captured the feeling of living in a white ghetto pretty well

Based Dafoe

Gummo, I grew up poor in Ohio and it's really close too what it's actually like in white trash America.

I've watched this movie twice now and one part always confused me.

What is the point of the character played by Caleb Landry Jones?

The one that helps bobby with the bed bugs, and the ice machine. Am I just retarded and missed something or is it just not really expanded on at all?

Honey Boy is pretty alright

Gummo is peak burgercore

South Florida is a cultural wasteland. The blacker your soul, the higher your odds of survival..

Eden Lake would be a frighteningly accurate portrayal of the youth down there.

The scene with his son is such a non sequitor that doesn’t even go anywhere yet it’s still somehow integral

I’m pretty sure it’s his Son from a divorce that’s got his own life 100 miles away. He gets him to come up and help him sometimes but he’s getting sick of it.

It shows how he’s struggling too and dealing with his own stuff but it really contributes nothing to the plot other than giving his character some depth

Sean Baker is relentlessly handsome.

The blue-haired cunt is one of the most infuriating characters I've ever seen in a movie. I was rooting for child services to take the kid away long before the end.

Brahs, can we talk about how trashy hot she was? I would fuck the shit outta her...

She was pretty hot, but also a cheap hooker, so you know she's got every STD

mooney's mother was an awful person but she really loved mooney. I was sad when the social workers came to take her away.

>one chance at life
>born in south florida
>hang self

Reminder that Dafoe will die during your timeline without achieving any academy award

Why are people ITT treating the Orlando area as South Florida? That's Central, which is a different universe from the actual south. Had me wondering if the film was Miamikino, but I can totally see the bleakness of Central Florida. Going up the turnpike from Miami to Orlando where you're flanked by nothing but hyperreligious billboards, motels, and Waffle Houses is depressing. Too two internships that I desperately hope to get are in Melbourne and Kissimmee respectively. It's very possible I'd have to leave Miami and make a living there, given the photonics industry in the area.

t. live in Kendall and am quite comfy here

>Bicycle Thieves
that's a good movie...

If you want street trash junkie kino then watch Heaven Knows What
