Do you think he’s over it?
Stuart Townsend as Aragorn
>filmed all scenes up until wraith camp fight
hmm
Stuart:
>5 11
Aragorn:
>6 6
hahaha is that real, left looks like an actual retard
>he doesn’t know that Stuart Townsend was originally cast
>he doesn’t know that Peter Jackson had to fire him when he realised it wasn’t working out
based Pete Jackson
I re-watched the trilogy last week and I hadn't realized how much Viggo steals the movies
I think anyone would be over a wig that shitty. He's probably embarrassed that any photos exist.
Viggo
>5 11
Retard
>You
Shit makes me wonder how many films were ruined by casting important characters horribly.
Unless all the characters suck then bad casting usually flies a bit under the radar and the blame is shifted to "it's just a bad film".
He doesn't look short, though. He's proportioned well. The new guy looks his height.
At 27 Townsend was just too young. Aragorn is supposed to look regal and wise- like he is ready to be king.
>new guy
Viggo is literally 7'0 dude
I’m sure he spends his nights binge drinking with Eric Stoltz
he did the same to Ryan Gosling in The Lovely Bones
Poor guy should have been paid for the work he put in though.
Left looks like a terrible made-for-tv fantasy movie.
Aragon is supposed to be like 87. Townsend didn't look that world weary. Viggo did.
Wow is 27 young. I'll be 27 this year
Townsend looks like a side-quest character
It's the stupid bangs that give it the cheapo tv feel.
Hugh Jackman would have made a better Aragorn
Viggo's career taking off from this role is one of the best things the LOTR trilogy gave us.
Viggo moggs him completely.
Viggo is also a very wordly guy who’s lived all over the place - Venezuela, Denmark, Argentina. He was a natural fit for Aragorn.
Unfortunately Viggo was GOAT tier casting.
I get shivers knowing we couldve had Townsend instead of Viggo if not for his son. Like i imagine there is a parallel universe where that is true and LotR didnt turn out so good
Really? I guess Jackson must have done him a favor and scrubbed all the footage they shot.
God bless that lil nigga for convincing Viggo.
Dodged a bullet there. Thank god they went with Viggo instead
If he wasn't right for the role, that would just have meant it would have been a much worse film and therefore he'd have been in a slightly shit film.
So he can tell himself didn't miss out being in LOTR because it wouldn't have been the LOTRs we all know
Viggo is literally the best possible choice for the role. Is there any debate?
Valerian is the first to come to mind. Did Besson use them as sex slaves or something? If so I hope he got real freaky with it to make it worth it because the leads ruined the movie.
I legitimately despise both of them.
And the Rihanna scenes ruined it further.
Cara is nepotism personified, she was designed to be famous from birth
Townsend looks less shit in other pics.
Impressively long arms, she should be a cage fighter or play basketball.
Stuart looked too young
For real? Is the footage somewhere to be seen?
>27
what the fuck why the hell would they cast someone so young?
Aragorn is supposed to be almost 90 or something but in that universe he's described as looking like a "rough 40" and even Viggo is a little too good looking. His acting completely steals it though.
Interesting how the same look can be chad on one guy and creep on the other.
