Shows that were good through and through
come on, post some hidden gems.
I get mad at least once a week thinking about this shows cancellation.
carnevale
but its this cancellation that allowed it to stay perfect as oppose to the throng of other shows that are milked dry till they are a shadow of their earlier seasons.
fine, ill try it, laura is pretty fantastic so i dont think itll disapoint
oh fuck off with that kind of reasoning. what is with people's obsession with good-looking corpses? if they were able to deliver even just one more good season before the quality started dipping i'll gladly accept it. there won't be any way to tell how long it could've gone anyway.
end of the last season was kino though. can't believe anyone on Yas Forums would recognize this show 2bh.
the love triangle stuff in the second season in kind of a drain
These are all great cancelled shows :(
- The Exorcist
- Channel Zero
- Patriot
- Perpetual Grace LTD (not officially cancelled but the network wanted the creator to do a shortened second & final season but he told them to go fuck themselves)
>shows that weren't cancelled but were consistently good
- Mr Robot
- Vice Principals
- The Leftovers
- Legion
>Mr Robot
does this keep being good after the reveal that that guy is only in his head? that was the point i stopped watching.
Perpetual Grace is great and I'm looking forward to S2. Yes I think it's better than patriot
The Leftovers
Still hurts
Cinemax doesn't promote for shit
it was a bit better than okay
name shows you really enjoyed in the last few years.
Yeah Enlightened was pretty good. And it was making fun of self-righteous liberals before it swelled into its more recent woke form.
Ignore the horrible poster. Yes she gets naked
is The Night Of a hidden gem? no one talks about it in here and it was amazing.
i'm still mad
>Admiral Feminist is fantastic
She's great in Lynch but she's cashed in that check by this point
>Admiral Feminist
What?
Sopranos
Sarah Connor Chronicles
Breaking Bad
It's weird because they're so both so similar but entirely different. Both kino either way but I'm not excited for S2 unless it's entirely in the creators control.
Yes it does. There's a lot more to the twist that makes it more than just a fight club ripoff everyone calls it.
Retard who watches childrens' fairytales made by Disney get butt-blasted over an actress that has been consistently great for like 30 years.
Rectify, Enlightened and Lodge 49 are three of my favorite recent dramas. They're kind of similar too, brightly lit, have a lot of humor to them and all rely heavy on characters and not plot.
I felt like rectify fizzled out about mid go and lodge fizzled out towards the end, if i remember correctly.
Yes. It's a solid show. Esmail politics are a bit heavy-handed but otherwise, it's highly entertaining.
Never heard anyone talk about this show. It's basically like an English Buffy. It has A TON of popular actors in it, a lot of Skins people(written by Skins writer), Natalie Dormer, guy that plays Lucifer, Daniel Kaluuya from Get Out plays the best friend, Fitz from AoS is a main character. It's fucking great, starts out kinda cheesy, but then gets really dark. Only 6 episodes long though, got cancelled afterward, but it has a satisfying ending and there's no need for more. It even won a BAFTA for best drama.
>Fitz from AOS is a main character
I'll have to catch this. It's crazy how good he is in that show. Hope he has a strong career when the show ends.
