my comments on this finale was too predictable, and they opted to use the "filler the prophecy" crap with the fat fuck ruining their business just cause he coulnd't fuck the lil one (who was an actress playing character of a effeminate boy)
it was void of any substance, in the end devs, i mean DEUS, is a real life NPC simulator, with NPC teling themselves that they arent't NPC cause they have memories from another reality, dats rite
by the time the series is in ep 3 you realize the series is already in an alternative world were virtual reality devices don't exist. I guess the author should loo for some larper animes like SAO and such stuff to figure it out something more less insipid
my verdict 2/5. Ultimately delivers something but it's too weak.
like you said we already knew what was going to happen. black dude in episode 7 confirmed it for those who were still lost. I liked this show but it should've been a movie. I guess Alex Garland wanted to do a tv series

>Being deterministic and predictable was the whole point of the show. What's up with American audiences and writing everything off as "predictable meh/10"? The premise was explained numerous times.
Lincoln Lee
>with American audiences and writing everything off as "predictable meh/10"? Th
the happy ending is mandatory for american audience, mostly not always
My only qualms with the episode was that Amaya was still a little girl. She should have been about five-six years older at least given that Forest built the entire project to achieve this outcome there is no way he did it in a year or two.
Jeremiah Peterson
also if the machine was as powerful as Forest said, why didn't they enjoy another reality, were Forest IS the lil girl, maybe he was just another creep, i mean look at the floating platform
yeah it was pretty dumb. i thought the fact that she changed her destiny or whatever was the proof of why forest didn't like the many worlds interpretation - that what you're seeing in the machine isn't what truly did or will happen irl but just one of many options. but then katie is like "yeah she committed the original sin shes amazing huehuehue"
oh man i didn't even think about that. that was very stupid. reminded me of leo seeing his kids again in inception too.

>but the end kinda implies the cia is taking over or something. that bitch said she needs help to keep the machine switched on, which is retarded. The machine simulates everything at the same time from the begging of the universe till its death, she could stop it at any time since everything that could happen already happened inside the machine.
Carter Rivera
her acting is bad - or at least it was in this show, she wasn't terrible in Maniac but fuck if I don't find her attractive as fuck
>true waifu is 4'11" 22yo tomboy lyndon I won't even argue, it's a fair opinion and I respect it, she's beautiful too
They lived happily ever after Until one day Kenton realized they are in a simulation
Asher Sanders
kenton has an irrational hatred of jamie. i would like to see in the simulation if they met and it’s his destiny to just beat the shit out of jamie
Charles Mitchell
like jamie cuts him off in traffic and he has some kind of deja vu echoes from a parallel universe and looses his shit
Landon Cox
If it continues into another season and government tranny character holds all the power, we all know what direction it will take. Hopefully Garland will make it a one off or can we have characters that won't reeeeee "white man bad" please lol
>Harsh Realm is a virtual reality game created by the U.S. Army, programmed to minutely replicate the real world for training simulations. In the world of Harsh Realm, a small nuclear bomb is detonated in the program's version of New York City, killing four million people and thrusting its participants into a post-apocalyptic disaster scenario.
Grayson Morgan
how did little chink get girl if he died?
Adam Clark
One possibility with the reeeeeeing of course.

I'm disappointed with this episode. Why did the machine predicted the future wrong? What is this original sinner bullshit? Why did the machine stopped predicting? So many unanswered questions. This series built up for something so much more promising. The fact that it didn't deliver makes me mad.
Looking back, it could have been worse, but it's still not good.
