Into the Abyss (2011)
The documentary of life! You see brother, there is no need to concern yourself with the mortal representation of reality. You must free yourself from the desire to see through the tainted lens of the human form. My favorite documentary is that which my God puts forth every rising sun!
Salesman (1969)
That's more aggressive cheerfulness than this bhutanese knitting board is built for
>Oh no! We can't just kill violent criminals
faggot
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA yes indeed
Close-Up if you can't it as a documentary. If not, then The Look of Silence
Herzog nearly ruins it in the interview with that woman
>she's about to give a heartfelt speech about how relieved she was to she the killer executed
>werner chimes in with "but the death penalty... it's too severe... far too barbaric... don't you think?"
>basically backs her into a corner and ruins any chance of getting anything deep out of her
But otherwise it's golden
count not can't
Really comfy, an interesting look at a disappearing culture and the ending is beautiful and really countered my typical cynicism.
Streetwise is a pretty good documentary about juvenile delinquents in the 80s
Into Great Silence

My Best Fiend
I don't know if it counts as a documentary or not but I must say that I loved Welles' F for fake. It was absolute amazing to watch and anyone who wants to watch it should do it without knowing anything about it
can
Idiocracy
Larry Clark's Kids
Now that looks interesting
Hands on a Hardbody
I wish more people had seen this movie just because it's legitimately funny
>Owwwwww, my ballllsss
>go away, baitin!
>I could really go for a latte. "we don't have time for a handjob, joe"
>Carls Jr. Fuck you, I'm eating!
Hypernormalization or anything by Adam Curtis. That voice will lull you in while he calmly explains what a farm animal you are to the elites.
never in my life have I seen a documentary that's actually valuable. i watch animal docs because I like cute animals. but most docs are pure bullshit and those few that arent are still worthless entertainment
Good one. I still love all their redneck dietary advice that revolves around what junk food is best to eat for peek “hold onto a truck” performance.
I've seen all those type of flicks, but I mean documentaries
You haven’t watched enough documentaries.
Hypernormalisation is fantastic. I didn't know it was a series and watched it all in one sitting, what a fucking trip?
I have watched too many because even 1 is 1 too much. theyre all waste of time
im not super into documentaries but pic related was very interesting mixing animation with documentary.
i dont like its political bias and how it portrays the sabra and shatila happening in a negative light but otherwise its pretty damn cool.
is edward norton the MC lol
I likeded the part where he puked up the burger.
Also the end song is neat: youtu.be
they made us watch this in burgerland lol
no pic related is mc and director, he also made a wierd adaptation of stenislav lem's The Futurological Congress with robin wright where she plays herself

Freshman gym class
for me it was 'health' in 10th grade
>it was nominated twice in the 25th Academy Awards, for Short Subject (One-reel) and for Best Documentary (Short Subject). It was in the Documentary category that this short, stylized drama (with some comedic elements) won its Oscar. A press release issued by AMPAS states that Neighbours is "among a group of films that not only competed, but won Academy Awards in what were clearly inappropriate categories"
IT WASN’T SUPPOSED TO BE A DOCUMENTARY
American Movie
Damn. Beat me by 46 seconds.
