There is absolutely no good reason to change the sex of a character. It doesn't enhance the story in anyway. It's being done for reasons that aren't centered on making the story better, not at all. If they are willing the change characters without a good cause, they will change anything else they want to and for equally stupid reasons.

Costuming, set design and casting was all great, with a handful of exceptions in the costumes. The set design was especially fantastic. Villeneuve's looks utterly piss poor in all three areas.
