Aren't quantum fluctuations themselves literally random?
The Everett interpretation is just a way to explain it, it doesn't actually prove many worlds at all.
Owen Roberts
>Evolution came up
Are you a retard?
Isaiah Gutierrez
The only scene I've had real trouble with is when the back guy showed them all 10 seconds in the future or something. The delay made no sense for them to see their future self say something then to do or say the exact same thing. I know the whole premise is everything is predictable, but that particular scene I had trouble with since by seeing your future self say something it would influence how you react which would change the result right? I'm excited for the final ep though, my theory is the reason it couldn't predict passed her going there though is simply that she goes in and breaks the computer and it can't predict passed its own destruction.

It showed 1 second in the future, so it kinda went around this, by involving their momentum. What I think happens is they realize that they themselves are in a simulation, since the machine contains themselves, it means that there's another machine withing the machine and so on. So if they destroy the machine, something similar will happen one layer above, so they all die.
Charles Wright
>came up
Are you implying nothing 'came' from evolution?
Kayden Bell
The machine is not a prediction machine. It's a simulation. It's simulate what might happen but very accurately. You cannot predict the future because it violates causality.

Did you fail to understand the question? Think harder and try again.
Jeremiah Garcia
You don't want to experience randomness. I used to get this feeling of there being a deeper layer to reality, a hidden truth about how things really are and how foolish some of our ideas are. A feeling of absolute terror in the presence of a cold, uncaring, randomness that makes you think everything we deem good and decent is a cruel joke played upon the living, before pulling the ground beneath your feet. Like the whole universe suddenly starts howling in manic laughter as you drop into a black void, revealing itself to be utterly mad. No hope, just chaos.
