idk man henry made the show pretty watchable for me
>The one saving grace of the show.
>Buried underneath comically-poor casting, terrible costume design, and a forgettable plot.
The cons outweigh the pros. Everyone knows this.
absolutely hectic, all over the place, pointless and messy screenplay
>unwatchable
Then how did I watch it? Next post
The timeline fuckery makes it an horrible experience
"Toss a Coin" was EVERYWHERE, I've never seen a meme take off that fast. That doesn't happen for "unwatchable" shows.
>marketers never force memes!
...
Multiple timelines works fine for True Detective because (in addition to having competent writing), the characters involved visibly age, so you can tell what timeline you're in. Geralt and Yennefer are ageless, and even Jaskier/Dandelion, who should be the one aging and letting us know, looks exactly the same. It was just lazy. One of the writers saw True Detective or Westworld S1 do it, thought they'd join the club, and made asses of themselves.
Bruh you’re retarded
Stop posting people with Down Syndrome, it's not funny.
>when something I dislike is popular its because of shills
How does a marketer force people to hum a song, or laugh about it when discussing the show with their friends via facebook?
Whats funny is geralt isn’t a mindless grunter in any other version. But that’s all cavil could deliver here.
Was it? I never saw any memes about it. the song was catchy, but grating after a while.
By controlling sockpuppet accounts and pretending their interactions are genuine.
Hell, people still say “where’s the beef.” Mass marketing has always influenced people into repetition.
Also you’re trying to imply baneposting happened because tdkr was such a fantastic and universally loved movie.
>popularity == marketing!
>else return tinfoil!
This nonsense will always be a timeless encapsulation of everything that went wrong, and why.
Dude, just understand it already. If blacks and latinos aren't represented in shows then those demographics won't tune in to watch and your show will be cancelled. Like it or not, diversity is profitable.
Not always, but often, yes. Here's just one example:
soar.sh
You can find literally hundreds of similar services, advertised in the open, for reddit, facebook, twitter, and yes - even Yas Forums. Everyone here is well familiar with that "meme foodchain" meme, and so are marketing departments, they know how the internet culture impacts and influences the real one, and they know where that culture is defined and spread.
"Shills" aren't a conspiracy theory, they're a fact that you can confirm for yourself with just a minute or two of research.
>If blacks and latinos aren't represented in shows then those demographics won't tune in to watch
Source?
Blacks love Godfather, white kids dressed up as T'Challa in droves. The idea that people can't stand entertainment without seeing their hue of skin on stage once every fifteen minutes is something pushed by infantilizing racists on the left, which has no basis in reality.
Black people are just people, they aren't the cartoonishly stupid and racist caricatures you and the rest of your blue hair friends have conjured up, they're perfectly capable of enjoying a medieval Euro show, just like anyone else.
That’s just the narcissism of white finales being projected onto other ethnicities.
also, movies and shows that push the "representation" meme usually suck, and movies and shows that have a natural and organic diversity and are actually good... nobody gives a fuck
See Ghostbusters and Anhiliation, for example. Everybody was talking about an all female cast in a fucking piece of shit while a decent movie full of strong female characters went just under the radar
Shitty source material and netflix niggers as diversity hires
Toss a Coin was so out of the place in a pseudo-medieval settings it was laughable.
>race is just skin color
Leftists will never stop saying this nonsense
The character was ok, but I hated how he sang like a modern pop star or something instead of a bard.
yeah, what was up with that?
I could stomach the casting, but the pop song was just weird.
The blacks, Jews and gays who wrote it and starred in it.
I have a black rasta friend who specifically watches Vikings and Game of Thrones because they don't try and make it super diverse. He's told me repeatedly if he wanted to watch shows with black characters/POC then he would just watch shows that are catered to those audiences.
>> Tried watching it but couldn't get past the Sonic episode because nothing made sense.
>> Found a fan edit that rearranged the timeline in proper order.
While watching it the show reveals itself to be a "Monster of the week" serial. I'm okay with that.
>> Plot holes and missing elements everywhere are revealed. It now makes sense why they reshuffled everything. They tried to mask all those errors.
Only Henry could make me sit through it.
nice to see rational human beings
