A New Hope >Luke uses the Falcon's turrets for the first time >He has trouble aiming because the turret is slow and the TIE fighters are too fast >Lands a few shots but they aren't enough to destroy the TIE fighters. They actually seemed like a threat. >Han has to join in and we get a several minutes long exciting sequence of Luke and Han working together to defeat the 4 TIE fighters that were attacking them
The Last Jedi >Rey uses the Falcon's turrets for the first time >Destroys 3 TIE fighters with a single shot, her first shot.

>people will pay to watch it anyway, any amount >who cares what we will show

Sequel escalation. Everything made has to top what was before it. Modern tard audiences would not enjoy an action scene that is not "so epic". Also they would complain if the previous entry had less "epic" scenes. Toss in the political shit about a Mary Sue character that has to be 100% successful at everything with little effort.
Not seen the movie in years. Did this actually happen i just thought it was an edit to make her seem riduculously perfect
Kevin Wood
half true. Rian Johnson noted the Mary Sue criticisms leveled against Rey in TFA and couldnt think of what to do to fix the issue, so he decided to agree and amplify the problem, making Rey even more powerful and skilled. He chose to make TLJ bad on purpose, as a joke perhaps, or maybe he was going for the so-bad-it's-good approach, I don't know. He seems a bit nervous and clueless on set, like he's suffering from imposters syndrome. So he might have just been trying random unexpected things and hoping it would work out in the end.

What? Again? I think your mom needs a rest.

Don't you understand? Women are simply better than men. No contest.
Fucking hell those comments. These people deserve nuwars

>Autistic /m/ poster makes better Star Wars content in his spare time than Disney has managed with billions invested Sad.

I grew up drawing star wars bases and ships on graph paper in the 90s, read the books, played the snes/old pc/n64 games, still watch the old movies, and even still have the special books about vehicles and stuff and I just feel empty watching this. It's so fucking bad.
Noah Nelson
I still havent rewatched TLJ or any ST movie and have no desire to

She is the chosen one and the force is female though
Kayden Gutierrez
if you watch tros thinking of it as an odd fanfic movie thats obviously non-canon, and like campy palpatine its not that bad. but yeah they aren't really worth watching, especially after tlj. It's like tlj even ruined what minuscule value tfa even had.
Dominic Williams
>He has trouble aiming because the turret is slow and the TIE fighters are too fast not limited to him, han has trouble too at the start >Lands a few shots but they aren't enough to destroy the TIE fighters. They actually seemed like a threat. no they didnt >Han has to join in and we get a several minutes long exciting sequence of Luke and Han working together to defeat the 4 TIE fighters that were attacking them han's the one that asks him to join in
another tlj seether btfo

They are getting shot up and they are more of a threat that being able to pierce through and fully vaporize 3 tie fighters in one shot... Just go back to twitter and talk about your mexican dr that chopped off your dick and how great he is. Literally the only people that like TLJ are trannies and cat ladies.
