How come the only people defending this shit are people who have never heard of Dune before or read the books and are just looking for another franchise to latch onto like Star Wars and Game of Thrones?
How come the only people defending this shit are people who have never heard of Dune before or read the books and are...
Are they ?
What's your source ?
So it's being defended by people who have never heard of Dune as well as people who read the books?
>people
you mean leaches, that feed on destruction of everything beautiful, or discord trannys as everybody else knows them.
read the books, looks fine to me, only problem i have is the set's and the color pallete
Denis is a certified Dune fanboy, he clearly just has his own interpretation on the setting and tone.
nah, only reddit
not defending it, just not condemning it until i see the final product
only hysterical twats do that
If you can't read that post properly they're no way you're able to read an entire book.
>HOW DO YOU KNOW IT'S GONNA BE SHIT THAT I'M SHITTING OUT
i just found out Deakins isnt a part of the series. My interest dropped by 95%.
Pretty sure that "or" should be a "nor"
t. ESL
They always claim that. D&D were handpicked by GRRM to adapt ASOIAF. The cunt who made Witcher was apparently a big fan.
your life is a miserable one
Great argument, reddit
The books are shit and you should feel bad for enjoying them.
Because you feel the subconscious need to dismiss anyone who disagrees with you?
>YOU HAVE TO LIKE EVERYTHING NO MATTER HOW SHIT IT IS OTHERWISE YOU'RE A MISERABLE PERSON. YOU HAVE TO BE FUCKING POSITIVE ALL THE TIME OR YOU'RE NOT NORMAL.

All I want is a floating fat man
i've read all Dune books written by Frank Herbert and I cant wait for this movie. Also Villeneuve is my favorite director and you can do nothing about it
It's kino. Fuck off. I love how Baron Von Harkonen looks in the picture.
looks like sandshit is now on the menu goys
>Also Villeneuve is my favorite director
What are your thoughts on Polytechnique?
Pretty great.
imagine forming your opinion on a film from third party promotional pictures lmao
This was an accurate portrayal of the film. Those are the costumes they wore and the neon lights were a big part of the cinematography.
What's your point?
The shot is not in the movie
Imagine being optimistic about a director with approximately 0 good films
>Those are the costumes they wore
pic related is how Deckard looks in the film
>the neon lights were a big part of the cinematography
you can pretend the film had overboown bloom pajeet tier lighting with blaring lens flares all over like in that pic, but it didn't
and that promo shot was made in a green screen studio, everything behind them is CG
not the case with the film
Post the one where he shoots the roasties
Villeneuve literally never made a bad film.
More than one instance of that but here you go.
They hired the Rogue One cinematographer. What where they thinking? Dune should be warm, not cold like a space movie.
That's all probably true though. Being a big fan doesn't always translate to results. In fact it rarely does, that's why the Astartes series caught everyone by surprise. It was better than anything made even by GW itself.
