I loved the concept but some of the actors were shit and the ending was really fucking gay. 6.5/10
>cannibal holocaust
Probably one of the best horror movies I've seen. When the filmmakers start getting each other killed was the best part, I've never felt more afraid of human psychopathy. 10/10

The Raid is seriously a must for anyone who likes martial arts or action movies. I can't recommend it enough to people. The second one, while not as good, was cool just to see what their team could do with a budget. Was very fortunate to get to see it in the theater. As for me:
>Bad Boys for Life
6/10. First one in the series I've seen actually. Neat twist for a silly action movie. It was fun and embraced what sort of movie it was. Saw it with other fans of the series.
>Excalibur
10/10 Probably close to my 10th viewing. I love Arthurian legend and this is the best film adaptation of it as far as capturing the overall themes and feel of the stories. Unbelievably stacked cast, most before their breakout roles, main criticism is the "campy" acting but it really works in the context of an ancient, legendary era of essentially mythical figures.
>The Gentlemen
6.5 Great cast and they largely play their roles well. They're let down by spotty writing which at times is compelling and at others laughable and distracting. The pacing is also inconsistent. The first act in particular is difficult to get through. There's a pretty big plot hole at the end as well but I can forgive that given this is at the end of the day a pretty silly gangster movie. Cast makes it worth a watch. Colin Farrell in particular was excellent as an honest boxing/MMA coach specializing in troubled youth but who as a result has to dabble in underworld dealings. McConaughey was also surprisingly believable as a half American, English crime boss.
