Young Phillipe Garrel is relentlessly handsome.

it's great
The Turin Horse
Post Tenebras Lux
What do you mean by that?
Post Tenebras Lux is 2deep4you indulgent crap but it looks like Mexican tree of life
...well?
Keep going
>looks like Mexican tree of life
fucking sold!
Is the rym top 1000 a good list?
It really is, there were many sci-fi Stalker wannabes during the "Perestroika"-era and the 90s. As a slav I find them to be very amateurish and fake-religious (religious for the sake of copying Tarkovsky as much as possible). I don't get why they often have cult followings.
it doesn't really look like Tree Of Life aside of opening, soccer scenes and lake scene. But the self reflecting image thing is very pretty.
Looking for more feedback on pic related. I agree that second half is much weaker than first half but final couple scenes were quite good
It's what you'd expect, basically the same as letterboxd.
>Géza Röhrig (Saul fia) is gonna be Jesus Christ in the newest Terrence Malick film, "The Last Planet", about Jesus's life alongside Matthias Schoenaerts (Peter) and Mark Rylance (Satan)
It's gonna be christ kino?
>parasite 23rd best film of all time
I don't like Lubezki very much but Tree of Life is a lot prettier than PTL. All the weird things they did with optical aberrations/post(?) were great though.
>Géza Röhrig (Saul fia) is gonna be Jesus Christ
A bit old but great casting to be honest.
Don't save it as .jpg in paint you fool.
I'll make a chart of patrician 4-hour long movies, so far:

what else?

what a fucking hack, none of those are 4 hour long.
i want to see the most depressing movie
you didn't count the mid fap break
El siebente continento de Miguel Hancales
Dead Man's Letters
Make Way For Tomorrow
That's the thing, it's a meme list but it's a fascinating programming if anyone took up to it. I'd recommend in ascending order too.
El fuego dentro de Luis Mallos
Las letras de un hombre muerto de Constantino Lopuscos
El caballo de Turin de Belos Taros
5 centimeters per second.
Manchester United por el mar de Lonergano
I don't think this is that depressing of a movie. It's just about how two people grow apart during their lifetimes. Not sad, just different
What's the most polarizing film? I don't mean meme "so bad it's good" shit like the room, I mean a film that half its viewers think is legitimately brilliant and the other half think is shit.
Fire Walk With Me
Almost as depressing as the other Belos Taros masterpiece El Baille del Diablo
Ties Xies Quos - Al oeste de las pistas de Wangos Bingos
Beyond the Black Rainbow. It's shit
Probably Solaris. Personally I like some things in it, mostly the beginning, but mostly everything after going to space, except the ending, is garbage. But some people seem to genuinely love it.
Azul de Derrecos Jarmanos
Breathless
