What happened to DVD menus?
What happened to DVD menus?
who cares lol
Piracy
Ok, James
It's a Godawful small affair
>tfw the metalocalypse season 1 set had the "secret" menu where it has skwisgaar fucking some chick for like ten minutes
I need a lawyer in las vegas, can he help me?
to the girl with the mousy hair
NO, HE IS NOT ICENSED IN NEVADA, BUT HE CAN CONNECT YOU TO PEOPLE WHO ARE
>still using physical media
>that secret menu in the scary movie dvd when you could jack off to carmen electra's beach pictures
not loading your VIDEO_TS/ folders in VLC for the full DVD experience without the physical media
As someone born between 1999-2009, okay, Zoomer.
T. A broke boi who grew up in an Amish town.
Fuck I meant this for
i wouldnt suppose you got a link to taht?
>X-Men 3 DVD
>you have to choose team Professor X or team Magneto before you go to the menu
>It only affects the background colour
pointless kino
DVD extras are almost a thing of the past, it's a shame, they used to be a good reason to buy them. A lot of films won't even have a commentary track, let alone a making-of featurette or deleted scenes.
If you put the Robots DVD in a PS2, you can play a demo of the video game.
I prefer a still image than the fucking DVD/Blu Ray showing scenes from the movie in the menu, most of the time it shows the most iconic parts of the movie and it's pointless and hurts the experience.
'member National Treasure 2-disc DVD with minigames and hidden secrets?
hes not wrong
But her mommy is yelling "no"
You still get some decent ones these days
name 30
And her daddy has told her to go
Absolutely this. What the fuck are they thinking?
Tigole rips regularly include commentaries and bonus shit
Muh minimalism
Which also affects much more than just DVD/Blurray menus
Nobody wants to put effort on design when they can just add a couple of basic shapes and that's it.
>the dvd menu had a movie themed game and you could play it with the remote.
It was a new format that needed to distinguish itself from VHS. That's why you have all these bonus features and quirky menus. Now that DVD/Bluray is well established that dont even have to try.
Hello James
>those unskippable ads and piracy warnings
Fuck physical media. The irony being that only buyfags have to sit through that shit. those who watch rips are already winning.
???
