How did gay men go from being the the founders of democracy, philosophy, arts, science, and being the best soldiers in the world to effeminate hairstylists and fashionistas?

in the 50s and earlier homos were seen as how incels are seen today (socially maladjusted loner creeps) and when people started to combat that stereotype they went way overboard in the opposite direction

Spartans and other Gay-reeks fucking hated women. Women were treated like 2nd-class citizens and many of them thought women could never love men as strongly as a man loves his fellow man.
Nowadays women have equal rights and some people put them on a pedestal.

fucking legitimately based

>Implying Spartans, Athenians, or other Ancient Gayreeks were accurately represented in 300

Based and redpilled.

dude on the top looks like he smelled a pocket full of cookies

homosexuals don't exist

>women could never love men as strongly as a man loves his fellow man
factually correct

wonder if they ever sucked each other off
you know as bros

What did he mean by this?

>gay men
>Leonidas only took with him men who had fathered sons

I'm pretty sure they didn't know they were faggots, they just thought it was normal to fuck eachother while stranded in some shitty desert far away with no women in sight.

>gay men go from being
gay men never did any of those things. Whatever they did in the ancient world it had nothing to do with modern gays.

This is supposed to be an ironic meme right?

Yeah you're right. If it were accurate they'd have been pounding each other before battle.

>Women were treated like 2nd-class citizens
They weren't even citizens, they were slightly above the slaves.

there are gay men that have biological children in modern times

>Spartans fucking hated women
Literally the opposite of the truth; they were the original simps.

>They had to dress women as men in their honeymoon because they were so used to fucking with men they couldn't find women attractive
sure thing simp

Literally the jews did it. And yes, I count both christians and muslims and jews.

That's not quite true, women had more rights in sparta than other greek city states.

>Spartans and other Gay-reeks fucking hated women. Women were treated like 2nd-class citizens and many of them thought women could never love men as strongly as a man loves his fellow man.

Spartans where the most feminist of the Greekoids and female Spartans often obtained enormous power by remarrying one dying warrior after another and getting their inheritance.

What did Aristotle mean by this?

>Because Spartan men spent much of their time living in barracks or at war, Spartan women were expected to run the household themselves.[44] [29] Unlike in Athens, where state ideology held that men were in charge of the household, Sue Blundell argues that in Sparta it is likely that women's control of the domestic sphere was accepted by the state.[30] Due to this Aristotle was critical of Sparta, and claimed that men were ruled by strong and independent women, unlike in the rest of Greece.[45] Aristotle also criticised Spartan women for their wealth. He attributed the state's precipitous fall from being the master of Greece to a second-rate power in less than 50 years, to the fact that Sparta had become a gynocracy whose women were intemperate and loved luxury.[46]

People back in those times who were gay simply never shown it publicly in fear of being outed and/or killed.
They sometimes had biological families even and only revealed their secret to their spouses or (secret) lovers.

That's how you write a gay character. Never mention it unless it must be brought up for the plot

For me, it's the Sacred Band of Thebes.

>spartans hated women
Akshully. Sparta was one of the most progressive states in the greek world when it came to women. They were among the most educated in Greece, they were able to hold land, participated in sports and they were often allowed to have multiple partners. Yes not only were spartan men gay, but they were actual literal cucks, and they promoted and applauded cuckery.

>Spartan girls were fed the same food as their brothers. Nor were they confined to their father's house and prevented from exercising or getting fresh air as in Athens, but exercised and even competed in sports.
>Unlike Athenian women who wore heavy, concealing clothes and were rarely seen outside the house, Spartan women wore dresses slit up the side to allow freer movement and moved freely about the city.
>Another practice that was mentioned by many visitors to Sparta was the practice of “wife-sharing”, many older men allowed younger, more fit men, to impregnate their wives. Other unmarried or childless men might even request another man's wife to bear his children if she had previously been a strong child bearer. For this reason many considered Spartan women polygamous or polyandrous.
>Spartan women were also literate and numerate, a rarity in the ancient world. Furthermore, as a result of their education and the fact that they moved freely in society engaging with their fellow (male) citizens, they were notorious for speaking their minds even in public.
>Most importantly, Spartan women had economic power because they controlled their own properties, and those of their husbands. The laws regarding a divorce were the same for both men and women.

Spartans were fags and cucks.

>spartans pragmatically allowing women more rights in a domestic role so they didn't need to bother and could hang with their bros instead is proof they weren't raging homosexual women haters

Khan Academy graduate here. I should point out that the Spartans really weren't all that sexist. Spartans were really just the minority elite of their society and they were comprised of both genders, but of course only the males became warriors. Everyone else living on Spartan turf was a slave. They were the real 2nd class citizens, men and women alike. The Athenians were the ones who really hated women. They kept them locked indoors all the time and shit. They hated women even more than Muslims do. Probably because, unlike Muslims (apart from maybe the Turks), they were more than happy just having gay sex all the time and only using women to pump out kids when needed. Needless to say it was an incredibly based and redpilled state of affairs. There's a reason when we think of all the cultural influence the ancient Greeks had on western society, we basically only think about what the Athenians contributed. Poetry, art, philosophy, democracy. It all came from guys raw dogging twinks every day and using their women as little more than downtrodden baby factories. As far as I'm concerned, we're still living in the dark ages.

Greek philosophers famously got a hard time from their wives. Same old story, marry a childhood sweetheart, get a bit of fame, open your own lyceum, she dies, decide you deserve an upgrade, get nagged to death by a demanding trophy wife. Socrates and Aristotle both fell into this trap.

Written like someone who doesn't know a thing about ancient history.

People don't like admitting it but you could basically fuck anything if you rubbed your dick against it for long enough. Don't matter what your preferences are, the dick just wants to coom.

I mean, didn't oral sex originate from Greece? Of course they sucked each other off as bros.

kek

sneed

>I mean, didn't oral sex originate from Greece?
Yeah sure, humans discovered it 2500 years ago.

Easy. Gay men used to have to focus their energies on something else. They knew they could never find happiness through family, so they achieved meaning in their lives elsewhere. Nowadays gay men are told not to try to succeed, that simply announcing their sexuality is enough for personal fulfillment. They are trapped by the persona of 'gay man', but they can't shed that persona or they will be shunned.

Fags haven't done any of that shit.
