This might be true, but it pains me that I won't get to spend a night with prime Elaine. It's a weird grief that's really hard to explain, because it's unlikely that I'll ever actually meet JLD in the modern era, but there's something about the Elaine that is immortalized through Seinfeld reruns that makes me want to spend a night in her apartment, you know? Never watched Frasier. I had never seen a full Seinfeld episode before last week, and I was under the impression that it was supposed to be unfunny to us nowadays because all future Sitcoms copied them, but I think that Seinfeld still holds up today, despite maybe having some outdated relics of the early 90s like no one having a cell phone. I don't know, maybe I'm the only zoomer in the world who doesn't need to find something "relatable" to find it funny.

It's weird. When I watched Seinfeld as a kid, I was never into Elaine. I thought she looked kind of ridiculous, especially her haircut. Only rewatching the show as an adult did I notice how cute she was.

it's great for comfy shows (ie this show & curb) but I absolutely hate it for 'dramatic shows'. I can't imagine bingeing Better Call Saul or Fargo. The anticipation helps the conversation of the show overall.

Frasier was Seinfeld's closest rival during the time that they both aired. Seinfeld actually got shut out of the emmys for almost the entirety of their run because David Hyde Pierce would win shit almost every year. It's a great show and definitely worth watching.

Friends is the other big one, but it came a little later and ended a little later.
