only Justice League and Birds of Prey were financial flops out of those, but even then I´m talking recent movies Aquaman, WW, Shazam to a lesser extent, all were profitable.
being a flop is not making money by the way, if you´re saying those aren´t good movies sure, but Suicide Squad netted 746 million on a 175 million budget.
Again i don´t care if you love or hate the movies, they didn´t flop.

I did read Ostrander´s and Boomerang has always been a sniveling asshole, remove the unicorn and Cpt. boomerang coming back for no reason and Jai Courtney portrayed a great Boomerang.
Also i´m not a GotG fan, i hate how they ruined Starlord forever and it has bled into the comics, but it´s a fine movie, I´m hoping for something with a bit more edge like Gunn´s previous movie 'Super'. Gunn can write and direct some good shit and he can be funny.

SS is literally one of the worst super hero movies ever made. Why a sequel is being made is beyond me.

He has about as much relevancy and presence as fucking Katana, who had no reason to be in this to begin with. Don't even start. Boomerang´s character througout all of Ostrander´s run is esentially the loser of the group, everyone dislikes him and describes him as cowardly, selfish and an all-around asshole, and that´s mostly how he´s consistently portrayed in futre SS runs. him caring only about himself and tricking Spliknot into killing himself is ripped straight from that run, him literally walking away as soon as the bombs are off not giving a shit about saving the day is funny and true to chracter, they ruin it immediately by him coming back due to a sense of Camaraderie that they never developed through the movie, Courtney does the best with what he´s given, and Boomerang was never supposed to be the star of the movie, and he shouldn´t he´s a seccondary character,

The virus is endemic in the US right now, even if lockdown ended people aren't going to movie theatres and people will still social distance. Movies are fucked right now because noone is going to theatres for the forseeable future. And if the "lockdown" ends lets say in 6 months to 1 year that would mean that they would have to push back filming of new films and that would mean that new movies wouldn't be finished for 3-4 years after the point they can start filming.

Hollywood isn't opening any time soon. And all current shows aren't getting another season for at least 2 years.
