Nobody i love every single season of sunny outside of 7. Season 9 for example is on par with 4. Arguably the best season of the show. The characters have evolved into brilliant characitures and critiques of the modern sitcom and it explores these themes much more regularly in the modern era.

Honestly I've felt the same way. Season before last SUCKED. Me and my buddy both agreed that this past season was a strong return to form and we watched every episode together, thoroughly laughed each time.
It survives because, yeah, overall, the quality declines, but every season has a banger or two. Everyone tends to have at least one that they really like, and since there are only ten episodes per season, it's not a bad ratio if only a few are good
Also, season 8 -- do NOT give up before you get to "The Gang Gets Analyzed" cause that's one of the funniest ones ever. No way you don't like it.
