God I wish this existed in higher quality than 360p

I watched half of the movie. I switched off, when the arrived at the mansion that is guarded by British soldiers. The movie wasn't scary, it did not have any interesting ideas, and it was tiresome, boring, uninspired and depressing (exactly like England). Please, explain to me what the appeal of this movie is.

>let's shoot this movie on my home camera

>one of the best zombie movies of all time only exists in 360p

oh the tragedy

Normies love zombies or muh infected in general. You only figuring this out.

You should go watch the Simpsons Movie or something instead.

World war z might be more your speed

It immediately becomes pure, unadulterated kino from that moment to the end so i would go back and finish it.

Maybe, I'll give this one a try. I liked the George A. Romero movies, especially "day of the dead". It's more "fantastical" and "adventurous", in my opinion. Did you like "28 days later"?

I fast-forwarded to check this, but it did not become kino.

It's so good but looks like such hot garbage in a post-blu-ray world.

Would actually be funny if they ever released it on 4k just for bantz.

It has an interracial couple, a white knight protagonist, le zombies and cool quirky indie music. Whats not to love about it?

Name one thing that happened post arrival of the soldiers then.

It's a well-made spooky zombie film that released before the zombie craze happened, of course people are going to like.

At the time, filming with a digital camera gave the movie this raw feel, but now it juts looks like ass. The movie in general didn’t age well for me.

Was anyone else rooting for the soldiers?

>start playing an episode of Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe inside a supermarket

What did they mean by this? Surely the zombies would have heard?

At the time it must have seemed fresh to get rated highly. I watched it recently and it's boring shit.

First post was right, the guy hasn't seen any of the movie and doesn't like it because it looks grey in YouTube clips.

The entire atmosphere and purpose of the film is lost on him, just ignore.

>The zombie kept by the soldiers was released
>someone lost an eye
>finnish fighter-jets fly over England
>it is revealed that England is in quarantine, while the rest of the world is not

Why did zombies become so popular with normies?

It was decent up until the last 20 minutes which was basically a nerd revenge fantasy. Alex Garland in the kind of soi-fi.

Spooky? Really?

Watch the movie or fuck off, stop asking a million questions about other people's opinions.

What is the purpose of this movie? That you gotta kill both Zombies and humans mercilessly? That Zombies and humans would kill you mercilessly? That you can fall in love even during a Zombie-apocalypse? Please, tell me.

I made this thread, to ask about other people's opinions on this movie. If you don't like it, then leave this thread.

Nah. Watch it like a normal human being or go away.

Maybe, because they can identify with them.

>didn't even finish the film
