>Why is this flick set in 1984?
So some boomer exec can hear their favourite songs in a movie.
Why is this flick set in 1984?
this desu
Because Their Ragnarok had a 80's theme
disgusting
Why not? WW is set in 1918 and BvS is 2015, there's a whole century of Wondy between those 2 movies and the 80s is the decade that most people feel nostalgia for
Im also baffled by this, it seems like a ridiculous year to set it in, given how the first revolved around WW1 which was a pretty important historical event
>misses all interwar events, WW2 and Korean war
>too late for missile crisis, Vietnam and every other major cold war standoff
>Misses the crime-infested, economically stagnant shitfest that was the late 70
My wildest guess its because its going to take jabs at Reagan and the general yuppie culture that sprang up in the 80s.
Regardless, it seems like an awful movie compared to the first one and a pointless sequel in general
Well in BvS she claimed she stopped helping humans
is there any movie like this?
Vaporwave
Stranger Things
Taylor Swift
Take your pick, it's the same bandwagon.
I was watching the Cosby Show, realized these motherfuckers dont dare actually emulate the style and fashion of the 80's, not truly. Closest modern production ive seen is The Americans.
Femme fatale (2000)
Dead or Alive (2006)
