franchise is too irrelevant and excessively convoluted to ever have a high budget movie

literally the best looking thing to ever come out of the franchise and it wasnt even made by GW bahahahaha

This scene, from a series of shorts a few minutes long, has a bigger cultural impact that Disney's multi-billion dollar Star Wars sequels.

why did 40k have to be the popular warhammer bros

30K is literal perfection, a kino about horus and the emperor's downfall is literally all i want

Because there's too many sci-fi fags. Hopefully the virus will fix that.

This was entirely style and no substance

I loved how they protrayed the space Marines as fast as fuck. They are supposed to be impossible super warriors not the lumbering knight archetype that isn't even accurate

No substance? This guy told a story without a single word being spoken. Sound design, scene framing etc. Not a single word of expositional dialogue. And you call it style over substance. You must be a simpleton.

He's probably one of those guys who thought Fury Road had no story

Style is the substance. Literal visual storytelling.
You must think that only 10 minute overwritten tarantino flick monologues are "substance"

>This guy told a story without a single word being spoken
No there was a series of mindless violent action scenes without any correlating narrative or story
Capeshit for 40kfags

You're incredibly stupid if you can't infer the narrative from just the video. Genuinely.

There is nothing explained
As a dude who doesn't know anything about 40k all I saw was a bunch of bara power rangers attacking a ship, slaughtering the crew and seeing many "cool images"

>lorelette

I literally don't know a single thing about warhammer and the narrative is crystal clear. I watched it all atleast 5 times over because of how engaged I was.

>as a dude who knows nothing about 40
>why arent i being spponfed pike in my american hollywood movies or anime?
>wtf how am i supposed to understand unless i have a 5 min scene of a mouth flapping exposition?
>why doesn't this fan project appeal to me, a non fan?

>as a dude who doesn't know anything about 40k

based plot point mental midget

Tell me the point/narrative then
All I got was murder and le ebin spoopy relic

That's what i thought

Space Marines are being sent to a ship filled with rebels, on which they know an ancient artifact resides, because they have a similar one in their possession. Space marines take out the rebels and continue to the artifact to neutralize it. At the chapter's home base/ship, they interrogate the artifact already in their possession. They find out that the Space Marines on the hunt for the other artifact are in danger, and shown by the chapter Captain sending for that other Space Marine to get shit done. But the guy interrogating it gets corrupted by Chaos and the Space Marines deal with this problem swiftly, in true 40k fashion. On the rebel ship, the space marines try to neutralize the artifact, but it sucks them in and takes them into the Void. Something attacks/disrupts the entity that captures them and the squad leader gets teleported to an alien world. The End.

I don't see just murder, i guess that's in the eye of the beholder, which means you must be a retard to not see everything else surrounding it.

true and that is a good thing.
40k is already that anyway

>As a dude who doesn't know anything about 40k

This image is all you need to know.

>Please spoon-feed me
Enjoy the (You)

Style is substance. If you disagree, it’s because you never had any style to begin with.
Someone link me this video.
