I grew up in a city filled with Mormons, went to school and had a few friends that were Mormons etc. They were ALL good looking, smart and the nicest people to be around and had hardcore straight edge morals. They might believe that they will inherit a planet one day when they die but fuck I'd be lying if I said they aren't decent human beings.

And yes, I thought south park was kind to Mormons, definitely not to Scientology, and made basic beliefs of both religions sound completely ridiculous, which they are. I’d like it if they did that for all religions.

It's a type of "social security" , when you retire or reach a certain age then they give you a pension according to how much you raked in for them. Plus they give a seminars, courses, contacts, and such which try to help you get better jobs (so you get them more money). They also ardently defend it saying it's an ancient and fatherly tradition.
