As easily one of the best characters in the show it pains me when Paulie goes behind Tony's back to Johnny Sack. Even though Tony was being cold to him Paulie knows the made life very well yet towards the end he stops caring about going behind Tony's back.
Not only that but I don't remember any discipline given to Paulie for his actions. In the wire when McNutty goes around the chain of command he ends up on a boat his most hated assignment. Why does Paulie get away with it and is it forgivable?
