He was 100% right, and she just turned off, stopped listening, and decided she need to win the fight by complaining about nothing.
Her killing her Brother, and then contacting the cartel for a congratulatory head pat was just a sign that she will literally never stop trying to be topdog. She needs to get one of her kids killed before she will take a step back and realise how wrong she is about everything. Even then, I don't think she would care.

Ozark is shit. It's just Marty solving problems with cliffhangers and dangerous situations. All the characters are shit except Ruth is halfway entertaining. It's also a vehicle for Bateman to demonstrate that he's "smart," which is really lame and insecure.
