Is he, dare I say it, right?
Is he, dare I say it, right?
In a kafkaesque kind of way
No, just a fag.
The prequel trilogy has SOUL
Yes.
No, the prequels are still bad no matter how terrible the new ones are
parts of them are good, but most of it trash
INNER STYLE > OUTER CONTENT
Yes. Parts of the Prequel trilogy confuse the casual watcher leading them to hate it but it all has a purpose and makes sense if you're willing to dig a little deeper.
there's nothing confusing about them
they're just bad
Original Trilogy= The Godfather
Prequel Trilogy=The Godfather II
Sequel Trilogy=The Godfather III
case closed.
t.confused pleb
The prequel trilogy was actually star Wars. The sequel trilogy is a bunch of non-fan SJWs using Star Wars as a backdrop for their agendas
i hate when people try to sound smart ironically. it just proves that they're retarded because if you try to analyze something mundane to an autistic degree, thats the joke right there, you don't have to make it ironic to add in another layer of joke. the irony is there just to cover up how retarded they really are.
A human turd does not make a horse turd more appealing.
Fucking Paypig
All SW movies suck after empire
horse shit is high quality shit though. the nutrients man the nutrients
Meesa agree!
Global story of PT is great, execution is lame and ugly as fuck.
In what way does the prequel trilogy show the redemption of the most powerful Jedi specifically? Who gets the redemption, where? How? The redemption happened in the original trilogy. Seems to me like they just added the word redemption without much thought just so it coincides with how epic Shakespearian sounds in the sentence for more credibility.
it could have been but lucas filled it with too much peripheral bullshit that had no bearing on the actual plot, was unreasonable, or was downright annoying.
Yas Forums is really getting a lot of mileage out of this word lately
He means the whole saga when referencing redemption you illiterate fuck.
Yes, he is right.
No. That is an assumption you made. Quote the text where he means the full saga. Yeah that's right, you can't because it's just a buzzword put there to sound profound.
>Is he, dare I say it, right?
yes.
>it elevated the Star Wars saga
Retard.
Yes. Anakin saga.
Can you even read?
>Can you even read?
hes probably one of those fags that think the right to bear arms belongs to the militia and not the people.
Prequel apologists are not “our guys” no matter how many threads you post.
>It elevated the Star Wars saga from...
Retard.
based
yuck. I rolled my eyes so hard reading that white board I'm getting a migraine. Movies made by committees of liberal arts and marketing majors is all Disney is, which means that's all Star Wars is anymore.
no because the good points he makes were understood watching the original trilogy. We know Darth Vader was Anakin who was at one point strong and capable Jedi who fought for the good side but turned bad. We understand that fall from grace and can deduce its parallels to the fall of the republic and the rise of the evil Empire. We get that feeling of tragedy and loss from the original trilogy.
What the prequels do is just spoil all of that with terrible directing. It retroactively makes the whole arc less impactful because 99% of the characters were shit and Anakin was an unappealing turd from the start. It also makes what could have been a fantastic epic showing a civilization on the scale of a galaxy can drastically change and fall into such turmoil, instead into a clusterfuck of dumb ideas and plot points that get roped into the natural inertia of the main story line. The story is barely functional just because its a prequel that leads us into a story we already know and all it needs to do is eventually reach its predetermined destination. Otherwise the story reads like some autistic fanfic.
Garbage movies.
You're kind of autistic. It can very clearly be inferred that the writer of that tweet is implying that the prequels create the space for a more cathartic redemption of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, the aforementioned "most powerful jedi in the galaxy"
