Watched the first 2 episodes. It was decent. When does this start getting good?

The Price arc is the peak IMO. Everything after that kind of simmers downhill.

it starts good and stays that way throughout

Everything after season 1 is kino.

which season is that?

like 4 kek

MM is never gonna be more then just a decent show

If you don't love it by season 3, drop it

first 3 seasons to build up don draper. 3 seasons to destroy him. season 4 is the turning point and therefore the best. season 7 is pretty tacked on.

If you don't like the first 5 episodes, come back when you're older or have a higher IQ.

Never. It's boring crap for housewives that want to schlick to draper and men who want to be like him.

How is 7 tacked on? it's Don's redemption

No one who actually watched the show wants to be Don you brainlet.

why not? he fucked lots of women and had a nice job

Season One is the least interesting by far. As the series continues and holes start to show up in Don's life and his facade it becomes incredible. That said, season one has some pretty good episodes and is pretty similar in style to the rest of the series, so if you don't like it much and you don't care about the characters then I wouldn't bother continuing.

He’s a bottomless pit. Never happy, never actually connecting. He wastes his life chasing shallow experiences and pretending to be something he’s not.

but I'm already those things but without fucking hot women and having money. I get thats the moral of the story or w/e but its just a dumb excuse just to portray a suave womanizer in the 60s

You missed the entire point. Filtered.

It starts good and keeps getting better, but the moment Pryce says "Happy Christmas" it's gearing up to kino.

>Arc
fuck off back to Yas Forums and stay there.

the fuck are you filtering? there aren't post IDs here

S1 finale is high kino and it keeps going from there.

story arcs are just a general term and not exclusive to anime you fucking chimp

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Story_arc
>A story arc (also narrative arc)[1] is an extended or continuing storyline in episodic storytelling media such as television, comic books, comic strips, boardgames, video games, and films with each episode following a dramatic arc. On a television program, for example, the story would unfold over many episodes.

kill yourself for making me explain this

It's good and stays good, but only if you enjoy subtlety.

7 isnt tacked on but rushed. They had to plough through the final years of the 60s and tie up everyone's storylines. Felt like it needed another half season

Draper is a piece of shit. His success with women is a commentary on their nature.

I miss this little nigger like you wouldn't believe

>expecting to appreciate a character drama after two episodes

Never. It's never good because it's beyond good.

this.
