Tokyo is built to entertain you. This video on Tsutenkaku tower in Osaka is a classic example. You go inside, see stuff from an observation deck, they try to sell you the luxury observation deck, but the one at the top is fine, then they have you go through museums, specialty shops, another museum on the history of a sign central to Osaka, and the company it was associated with. By the time you finish going through the building, you've been shown a whole pile of shit, and if there's anything you want to focus on, there's a part where you can go more into it.
