Still, in answer to OP, SNL has been absolute unwatchable shit since the 2000s. I dind't even watch the old seasons, I saw episodes through the 10s and then checked out the old ones. It's such boring shit now. Has it even launched any careers? All that comes to mind is Bill Hader but he was partially famous after being in some Judd Apatow movies and writing for South Park.
