He doesn't seem super intelligent, but he's also high all the time which might excuse some of the overtly dumb things he's said. I at least give him credit for his relative open-mindedness, knowledge of martial arts, and awareness of when he does and does not know what he's talking about

He's legitimately not intelligent or an authority on ANY subject. Even working out/exercise he knows very little and is a brainlet, he didn't even have any cardio as part of his routine until like 5 years ago.
