Yeah, I'm definitely watching a show called The Clone Wars because I enjoy entire arcs without so much as a mention of clones or droids.

No. I was a huge fan back in the day, could name pretty much every clone.
When disney and rebels happened I took a step back from Star Wars as a whole. Was kinda hyped for the renewal of Clone Wars. And it was a complete and utter disappointment.
The story itself is meh - ragtag group of clone misfits going on a mission. Lore is thrown out of the window - they have a (mutated) clone trooper lifting a fucking LAAT/i like it's nothing and jumping like a jedi. Tactics are retarded - masses of droids are simply standing there for dramatic effect.
At this point I'm not entirely sure if the previous seasons aren't the same and it's not my age that painted them cooler and more... grimdark. Honestly, if you're over 18 just go do something else.
