Caught Aliens on the tv recently and I was reminded how absolutely fantastic it is. I know it's the pleb take but I feel it's a more amazing action/horror movie than Alien is as a horror movie.
Watched Alien for the first time in many years like a month ago and while still good and atmospheric it felt a bit disjointed to me. Like they try two things to get the alien once it's fucking shit up then they both fail and they just decide to bail. I guess the overall plot wasn't as interesting as I recalled it being.
