Ive never seen a single episode but I remember seeing this clip multiple times on tv in the mid 2000’s. I literally watched this clip again an hour ago because it just randomly popped up in my head and now im ITT.
Thanks for reading my blog
Where the fuck is the torrent?
are there new episodes or something? why are generals being made?
You've made Mr Flibble very cross
Mega or dropapk fucking where? Tell the Russians to get to work chop chop.
I enjoyed it, but it could have been better. It strikes me there were some glaring missed opportunities.
The cat leader could have been played as a serious villain, similar to the Simulants in the classic series. I think Red Dwarf was often at it's best when the sci-fi was actually played relatively straight, and the main cast brought the comedy to the situation.
They could have ended the story with the revelation that the religious schism among the cats occurred when their food dispensers broke down, and Cloyster wasn't there to save them. Lister could repair their food dispensers, reinforcing their belief that he was their god, much to his annoyance.
I'm not too sure what they were doing with some of those sub-plots. What was with the holy stone?
Kat suddenly having a nuanced enough understanding of the philosophical implications of artificial life to give Rimmer an existential crisis felt a tad out of character.
Is there a reason they couldn't just restore Holly's memories in the first place? Probably would have been better if they start the transfer at the beginning of the episode, but it for whatever reason it doesn't take hold.
That gag with the giant floppy disc was a bit shit.
redpill me on what Promised Land is
New special. Feature length. It's alright.
where can I watch Promised Land?
Pitch me a series finale
Had no idea about this how do I watch?
They settle down on a fertile planet with the remnants of the Cat race, and a collection of all of the various GELF and cybernetic life forms they've met over the course of the series.
Lister begrudgingly takes his role as their leader. Rimmer finds happiness as a farmer. Inverting their character goals from the first episode.
Kat could invent textiles. Kryten could become an educator. Holly could become a media personality.
Maybe Kochanski comes back, or Lister finally moves on.
Just register here and you can watch, you might have to be in the uk
Doesn't sound half bad. Can't be worse than say "These Are the Voyages..." as far as show endings are concerned.
I honestly think they should get back to Earth even if nothing is left of it.
Maybe they get back to Earth and have to repopulate it.
So, what is it?
>this kino lighting
Beautiful.
Btw I hate how annoyingly self-referential/masturbatory the new seasons are even if they are still enjoyable.
>I think Red Dwarf was often at it's best when the sci-fi was actually played relatively straight
See, I knew something was missing. The episode was good but had a stinking "tribute/clip compilation/haha remember this/guess which deux ex machina character we revived lol" tone.
Damn, they are so old now.
Surprised Norman actually still sells the character very well. Looks like he's about to keel over.
So what is it?
A WHITE hole?
I can't be arsed with any of the new shit. I watched series 9-12 once and never went back.
yeah, what's up with people getting older? why don't they just not?
> fucking zoomers
I've never seen one before - no one has - but I'm guessing it's a white hole.
I think we've experienced this period of time before, Sir.
Same tank that appeared in the James Bond movie Goldeneye.
