Alternative Comedy used to be the only shit i liked between like 2000-2014 back when they legit were doing all the more interesting stuff in comedy. But now its flipped and the alt comedy has become the mainstream. and now its the edgier fucks which the alt comedy snobs used to stick their noses up at and think as hacks, but theyve become the new alternative where you gotta look harder to find their stuff cuz now thats become the funnier shit theyre not putting on tv because woke/alt is no longer the counter-culture yet they still try to act like they are

Yep. The edgy comics have essentially made peace with the fact they won’t get TV shows but it’s better for them honestly. Most podcast comics don’t have to fuck with as many agents and manager payouts and Rogan showed you can become massive without doing dumb movies and talkshow appearances
