A speech about inequality and the importance of hierarchy is great but what does she do with it? Nothing.
7 or 11 would have had deduced a some sort of plan and put it in to action. 10 would have given a speech about how valuable a single human life is and found a way.
She does nothing but lose.

Jack is said to be immortal and he still dies after ages. Only Clara doesn't even age like Jack did since her body's processes were frozen. She still dies eventually, but that could be after billions of years.

This scene was pointless. I don't mean it was poorly acted or not enjoyable I mean it literally had no point.
The speech was about "Should I kill this guy to stop Cyberman getting his thing" and the Cyberman came in one minute later and said "No actually, I need to kill him TO get the thing."
This had to be the worst writing I've ever seen in Doctor Who. Setting up an actually interesting moment and then shitting on it for literally no reason.

that's how time extraction works. it is never allowed for more than a few minutes because the extracted person can run away and accidentally lose their life somewhere else and thus endanger the timeline..but in the period where they're extracted, they're functionally frozen in time yes
