Yes.
That also includes Jesus's main disciples, who were all Jews at that time too.
The whole area was pretty much what we call Jews. You also had Roman occupiers. Surely some other gentile traders.
You see the power struggle between the Jewish "church" and government trying to keep a rabbi like Jesus from causing a stir. It was a very troublesome time being under Roman rule. Even if many Jews and gentiles were following Jesus, the local government leaders didn't want some new leader causing trouble with the Roman rulers.
Plus, we all killed Christ, Jew and gentile alike. Jesus died for all our sins. Even Saint Peter failed Christ multiple times.

I went to a Catholic school and we learned about Jung and Joseph Campbell. Forget if we ever applied it to Christ's life. Though for Christian theology you could argue that the monomyth is an echo of Christ's heroism. That would be why we see this archetype throughout history. Christ exists outside time and his store has impacted our collected unconscious through the ages. Would also explain other "messiah" stories like Mithas.
Though I certainly welcome atheists to read Christ's story and analyze it as part of a monomyth. It's better than them just bashing it. They admit it has cultural value.

You can tell most atheists aren't actually intelligent because they refuse to do exactly this. Plenty of churches pop up claiming to worship Christ, but are just some money making scheme. Hell, on tv listings I saw a show hosted by that televangelist Creflo Dollar.

Sadly, I see the same thing from ignorant Christians when it comes to basic science. I can't cast stones at atheists when so many Christians have such ignorance as well.
