What 20+ y/o movie has aged the best?
What 20+ y/o movie has aged the best?
Most 20 year old movies are better than modern movies. Why do you faggot zoomers ask about how every single piece of media has "aged" or whether it "holds up"?
Name me one piece of media that's superior to media from 20+ years ago.
The televised broadcast of the 2016 presidential inauguration
The Incredibles
Not better than Toy Story or Lion King or Little Mermaid.
The Matrix
Fight Club
all shit
Dramas/character pieces that don't have any special effects or stunts age perfectly fine. Rain Man, Stand by Me, etc.
Alternatively, movies that put a ton of effort into making practical effects, real stunts, etc. age very well. Jurrasic Park would be a good example of this with their animatronics. The original 1993 movie legitimately looks better than all of the new CGI-fest ones and has "aged" better than the movies that came out within the past 5 years.
Star Trek II is as epic today as the day it came out almost 40 years ago. The special effects are far better than current year movies.
Seven Samurai is still fucking good
>watching movies made before you were born
Based
Star Trek I-VI all hold up really well. I is a bit too 70s with the costumes, but everything else, especially the special effects, still look amazing.
The Shining has aged well.
Honestly, there's such a gap between movies that were made then and our world today because most people can't imagine living in a world without it
hurr I am retarded. What I meant was with cell phones and the internet. Really makes movies different, imho.
A lot
Most of the best movies are from the 80s and 90s.
videogames
The action even aged well. It's one of my favorite movies
Unless you have a sub 100 IQ, you would understand that art doesn't age.
Fight Club is still a great movie and is basically indistinguishable from Fincher's later works besides a couple moments of shoddy CGI.
IS Houston a good city to move to?
Based on what criteria?
Everything made nowadays is a fucking remake anyways
The Saint (1997)
>adventure/thriller film which is no longer a category of film being made
>le genius woman yet has highly feminine flaws and traits
>man required to perform and become who current target woman wants to get what he wants (PUA)
>woman's loyalty questioned
>man above woman on poster
wow that sucks you cant watch any movies before 2012
Oh look a movie that is 16 years old
>videogames
You do realize they remake 80s and 90s games all the time because new games are such shit. Mario 1-3, World > any of the modern ones. Same with Zelda.
>Unless you have a sub 100 IQ, you would understand that art doesn't age.
based retard
faggot movie
What the fuck did you just say?
The Apartment. Absolutely perfect film.
BotW was kino though you casual.
