The second one is the best one. The rest are mostly to entirely garbage. You can actually watch Catching Fire without watching any other ones. Its probably even better this way, just ignore the retarded cliffhanger ending OP. Definitely under no circumstances watch the last 2.

The second one is the best. The authoritarian crackdown on her district is pretty well done and seeing all the other dristricts caught between civil unrest and totalitarianism is cool. The third one blows and I didn’t even bother with the 4th.

Pretty gutless and boring. JLaw is a charisma vacuum and all her love interests are just bargain basement C listers. The story doesn't make sense and the violence is barely pg 13 and unlike Battle Royale there's not even a stand out pyschopath or evil character to be entertained by.
They're newer than Harry Potter and more politically relevant but none of the leftwing whackjobs ever mentions them, so it's obvious the franchise generated no long term interest even with it's core audience.
It's interesting that there are no more Young Adult franchises since this one. You'd think with the billions Harry Potter and Twilight generated we'd have new franchises pushed every couple of years.
